🌈 Sending Joy: A Program of Queer Joy Collaborative

Sending Joy is a year-round QJC program designed to uplift, connect, and affirm our community through handwritten postcards full of warmth, encouragement, and queer joy. Whether you need a little brightness in your mailbox or want to help spread the love, Sending Joy is how we remind each other that we are not alone—and that joy is real, sacred, and shared. You can even sign up to have some joy sent to yourself or a loved one.

✨ What is it?

Inspired by our beloved in-person Warm Fuzzy Postcard Writing Events, the Sending Joy program makes it easy for anyone to:

• Receive a joyful message when you need it most

• Send postcards to members of our queer community, local heroes, artists, and chosen family

• Gather in community (online or in person) to write, snack, and be together in a sacred space of joy and connection

We provide everything—postcards, stamps, snacks, and inspiration.

🖊️ Upcoming Event: Warm Fuzzy Postcard Writing

Fall, 2025 | Northampton
(Note: We took a break this summer—new fall dates coming soon!)

At this free, drop-in event, you’ll be able to:

• Write to anyone in your life who could use some joy

• Choose from a list of folks who’ve asked to receive mail

• Hang out with fellow joy spreaders over snacks and stories

• Send love to artists, organizers, elders, and chosen family

We'll also have QJC merch available for purchase and donations are always welcome to support our programming.
